Feed Your Senses: MR & MRS FOX is Back for Design-Savvy Dining
(Hong Kong, 8 Feb 2021) MR & MRS FOX has a refreshing look to start the new year, where good food and good art go hand-in-hand to give a gram-worthy space on the G/F of EAST Residences. Thanks to the impressive selection of contemporary artworks by the likes of Javier León Pérez, Pasha Wais, Peter Yuill and an array of renowned local & international artists casually strewn about the space, every detail of the restaurant has been carefully considered by acclaimed interior design firm SKYnoa to provide you food for thought. With potted plants hanging from the ceiling, not only can the eyes feast on a lush plant-filled environment, but also inspire guests to continue leading their lives being green and sustainable.
Mark Percy, Director of Restaurant & Bar and Executive Chef, and his team have designed a wholesome menu that caters to lovers of European delicacies. Guests will be transported from the hustle and bustle of the city when they plant themselves at MR & MRS FOX for an evening conversation, hearty meals, and a glass of happiness, while they sit in awe of the incredible and consistent decor of plants over three floors.
“We are here to offer a high-quality dining experience for the millennial crowd, the professionals & corporates as well as private events with the focus on a vibrant and light-hearted setting.“
said Guzman Vereda, Restaurant & Bar Manager from MR & MRS FOX.
The seasonally inspired menu covers a unique selection of dishes. Guests can kick off the feast with 80g Steak Tartare with Bone Marrow alongside slow-cooked Quail Egg Green Herb Salad (HK$178) and Hokkaido Scallops Carpaccio with Caviar and Sea Urchin (HK$158) while taking pleasure from hand-crafted cocktails, like Thelma & Louise Sour (HK$88) made based on the Peruvian brandy, Black Walnut (HK$98) inspired by the classic Negroni and an herbaceous and fizzy Shiso Mule (HK$88). Other notable dishes include 450g Dry-Aged Strip Steak (HK$558), Grilled Whole Barramundi (HK$248), Grilled Salmon Fillet (HK$218) as well as Lobster Paella served with mussels (HK$528), which are perfect to celebrate the joy of togetherness. A selection of boutique wines and craft beers is available along with Raspberry Chocolate Lava with Vanilla Ice-cream (HK$98) and the signature Baked Alaska and peanut banana ice cream (HK$138) to end with sweet notes.
The EAST team will be continuing their exceptional service to marry the success of MR & MRS FOX with art, culture, and life at the booming business hub of Taikoo Place, adding flavour and unparalleled offerings to the neighbourhood and community.
