Job Overview

This role supports the Information Technology department in developing and implementing innovative technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency and deliver exceptional guest experiences. We bring value by ensuring a reliable and secure IT infrastructure, enabling seamless operations, fostering digital transformation, and supporting the organization's strategic goals. This role will be on a 2-year contract basis.

 

Key Responsibilities

Here's the quick lowdown on what you'll do day-to-day:

• Lead digital and data management projects, including user requirement analysis, application system design, agile implementation, UAT evaluation, vendor management, and deployment follow-up.
• Ensure quality deliverables by managing project implementation, identifying risks, conducting comprehensive QA tests, and maintaining clear technical documentation.
• Understand business requirements and processes, and transform them into technical designs to meet organizational needs.
• Translate CRM marketing needs into technical requirements and user stories for system enhancements, troubleshooting solutions for CRM and marketing automation platforms like Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).
• Manage all technical aspects of CRM and SFMC systems, including data synchronization, storage management, anonymization, system integrations, and custom development.
• Oversee websites, mobile apps, Mini Programs, cloud environments, and digital products to ensure smooth functionality and optimal performance.
• Provide system, infrastructure, website, mobile app maintenance, deployment, and IT application support.
• Evaluate the feasibility and resource requirements for system enhancements to determine their viability and alignment with business goals.
• Act as the key contact and project coordinator, collaborating with internal teams and external vendors on system-related matters.
• Partner with business units, IT teams, and vendors to align digital solutions with business objectives, and liaise between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to ensure smooth communication.

 

Requirements

Here's exactly what you need to excel in this role:

The Non-Negotiables (Must-Haves):

• Minimum 4-5 years of experience in IT field with experience in leading and developing large-scale systems
• A recognised University degree in Information Technology or a related discipline
• Knowledge/ experience in digital web & app development, server setup & integration
• Familiar with latest web development technologies such as Azure, AWS, DevOps, along with React and React native, JavaScript, JS Framework, HTML, CSS, Salesforce, SQL, and .Net (C#); Google technologies experience will be an advantage
• Sound understanding of technical architecture, APIs and overall system design
• Experiences in website performance tuning/ monitoring for PRC & international end-users, CDN deployment & security control measures, and loyalty engine preferred
• Prior experience in hospitality or international-scale B2C industry and experience in working with Sitecore; good understanding of hotel quality and service standards preferred
• A good team player and a self-starter; resourceful, energetic, confident, and guest-oriented
• Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Excellent problem solving, decision making, conflict resolution, and strategic thinking
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification would be an advantage
• Fluent in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Candidates with more experience may be considered for Senior Systems Analyst – Digital Technology
