The Temple House Celebrated its Eighth Anniversary with Eight Renowned Mixologists
The Chengdu House Put on a Whimsical Cocktail Night with a Summer Neon Party
Chengdu, August 2023 - The Temple House, a modern House known as "The House of Contrast" for its contemporary design yet historic location, marked its eighth anniversary on 8 August with a remarkable Summer Neon Party. For the special celebration, The Temple House invited its cherished House friends to enjoy a delightful evening, bringing together eight nationally and internationally renowned mixologists.
"We are immensely proud to reach our 8th anniversary, and to share this milestone with our valued friends," says Simon McHendry, General Manager of The Temple House. "The concept of the celebration encapsulates our commitment to embracing tradition, fostering innovation, and leading the way in sustainable luxury hospitality.
We look forward to welcoming everyone to our House, where they can enjoy an authentic Chengdu experience, and build more unforgettable memories with us!"
For this celebration, the House had eight renowned mixologists to shake and stir. Besides its very own William Zhang, Head Bartender of JING at The Temple House, other mixologists were Millie Tang, who was listed among this year's Drinks International Bar World 100 Most Influential, as well as Eddy Yang, winner of the 2018 DMBA Founders Award and a well-known mixologist in China. Joining them were Jackwing Yao, founder of SPIN Bar in Guangzhou, William Wu, founder and Head Bartender of La Saloon in Chongqing, and Fraser, co-founder and CEO of The Rambler Gin, as well as two mixologists from The House Collective; Harry Zhang, Bar Manager of Union at The Opposite House Beijing and Matthew Hall, Bar Manager at The Middle House Shanghai. The eight mixologists have ingeniously crafted a series of whimsical cocktails inspired by Neon colors, perfectly complementing the festive ambiance of the anniversary celebration.
The Temple House's eighth-anniversary celebration also showcased an array of captivating installations, each one thoughtfully designed, conveying the theme of the number "g". These artful creations, meticulously crafted from a variety of materials, came together to form a visually striking scene on the lawn. Each "g" signified one of the core elements that define the House's identity, including Historical Sense, Sustainability, Wellness, Art, Creativity, Timelessness, Trends and Mode.
Historical Sense is a tribute to the heritage buildings that the House has embraced and preserved throughout the years. Sustainability reflects its unwavering commitment to environmentally conscious practices, honoring its dedication to protecting both the natural world and local communities. Wellness showcases its dedication to nurturing health and wellbeing, and Art represents its profound admiration for art in all its forms, as it adorns the House's spaces and elevates the aesthetic experience for all who visit.
Creativity signifies passion for innovation, showcasing ceaseless pursuit of fresh and captivating ways to enthrall both the guests and community. Timelessness and Trends harmoniously blend in the House, celebrating the enduring allure of timeless traditions that blend seamlessly with modern comforts, ensuring a captivating ambiance that is both rooted in heritage and ahead of the curve. Mode exemplifies its ability to stay at the forefront of the latest buzz, ensuring guests' experiences remain vibrant, exciting, and ever-evolving.
On this radiant night, House friends dazzled in neon outfits while accompanied by vibrant beats and stunning cocktails, to celebrate the 8th anniversary of The Temple House!
