The House Collective launches first-ever collaboration with Baccarat
Hong Kong, November 2021 – This December, The House Collective will launch a first-ever collaboration with Baccarat, one of France’s most established artisan of crystal glassware in conjunction with its Harcourt Collection 180th Anniversary, and feature an enchanting celebratory affair showcasing its latest creative endeavours across all four Houses; The Opposite House in Beijing, The Upper House in Hong Kong, The Temple House in Chengdu, and The Middle House in Shanghai just in time for the festive season.
The exclusive partnership celebrates the creativity and freedom at the heart of The House Collective and marks 180 years of the Baccarat’s Harcourt Collection, by introducing a series of four cocktails served exclusively at all the Houses for a limited time in December. Each of the Houses’ team of mixologists will design three champagne cocktails alongside with one special Baccarat cocktail “Harcourt 180” presented in the Harcourt 1841 glass, currently served at the Baccarat Maison in Paris for the Harcourt anniversary. The limited-time House champagne cocktail series present new creative flavours and contemporary twist to classics, served in the bold Harcourt Collection of crystal glassware.
Head Bartender Gary Hu of Café Gray Deluxe at The Middle House creates “Par Avion”, in which he takes a contemporary twist of the classic Aviation cocktail by substituting gin with champagne to enhance its floral element. Inspired by tea, William Zhang, Head Bartender of Jing Bar at The Temple House balances the ingredients of Lapsang infused Sakura Vermouth, Fig Campari, Dok Anchan and Brut Champagne, giving a glowing dark red colour to “Garnet”. Under the leadership of Operational Manager Harry Zhang, The Opposite House team mixes gin, Osmanthus wine, hawthorn with tamarind juice and Brut Champagne to create the mellow, sweet-sour ”Pekin Royale” while Jack Leung, mixologist of Salisterra at The Upper House creates “Ruby” – a refreshing Tito’s cocktail packed with delicate taste of fig, blueberry and lemon and smoothing smell of lavender.

The House Collective welcome guests to celebrate this festive season at any of Houses, indulging their taste buds in a luxury embellished festive setting, making the drinking experience a moment of heightened sensations. In Shanghai at The Middle House, the lobby will be transformed into the festive mood with Baccarat’s crystal bar, pop-up store showcasing the exquisite crystal collection and a Christmas tree decorated with crystal ornaments. Baccarat will also bring one of its most iconic chandelier styles - The Zenith to The Opposite House, where the atrium will be decorated with the Zenith Chandeliers including the Charleston Collection, as well as The Zenith Unfocused.
