From now to 8 October, The Shop at The Middle House and LOEWE present a home fragrances experience pop-up exhibition and shop.
Bringing the fresh scents of the outdoors in, the only China launch event for LOEWE Home Scents presents the new collection of home fragrances based on the raw essences of a vegetable garden.
Feel the unique intimacy and comfort of LOEWE home fragrances, in an environment akin to a Victorian botanical garden at The Middle House.
It is bright and fresh in early autumn, perfectly complemented the flavor of plant.
The opening cocktail party on 18 Spetemeber attracted many fashion bloggers to come and share photos, and received enthusisatic response.
Jonathan Anderson, LOEWE’s creative director has been inspired time and again by the wonders of plant life. When he joined LOEWE, he had imagined to create candles and add an olfactory dimension to the brand. And now, he’s happy to introduce this new line of home fragrances and potted candles based on his own childhood olfactory memories.
Anderson worked with LOEWE in-house perfumier Nuria Cruelles to interpret 10 plant essences include honeysuckle, beetroot, juniper berry, tomato leaves, coriander, liquorice, luscious pea, oregano, cypress balls, and ivy.
The home fragrances are housed in handcrafted ceramic containers that evoke the elegant simplicity of Ancient Greek drinking vessels, and come in a variety of colours from striking black to powder pink. The packaging, an artwork in itself, features bold still-life photographs of plants from Franco-Swiss photographer Erwan Frotin.
Come to The Middle House, the only place to find and take in the whole LOEWE plant-inspired interior scents collection, before taking away these limited edition fragrances and candles.
