A Sustainable Fashion Frenzy at EAST Miami
Last month, in celebration and to raise awareness of Earth Month, EAST Miami collaborated with a handful of extremely talented students from Istituto Marangoni, the prestigious school of fashion, art and design.
The task was to design and create stylish statement pieces from recycled bed linens, laundry bags, pillow cases, robes and toiletry kits from the hotel.
The collaboration was a great success; sparking new ideas, ways of thinking and raising awareness of how to better and more creatively re-use our waste.
The results from the students are truly remarkable; sustainability has never looked so chic!
