‘Sharkwater’ Screening at The Middle House
On the 23rd of April, it was all about sharks at The Middle House in Shanghai.
We were so honoured to host a private screening of Robert Stewart’s critically acclaimed documentary on the conservations of sharks, ‘Sharkwater’. In collaboration with ‘In Sharks We Trust,’ we were able to do what Stewart’s films have been doing for years; shed light on the illegal killing and mistreatment of sharks and the importance of our attention to their conservation.
The late Canadian conservationist and filmmaker, Robert Stewart, has created several documentaries about the majestic creatures of the deep and their mistreatment by humanity. ‘In Sharks We Trust’ is a sustainable swimwear brand inspired by Stewart’s efforts and is 100% dedicated to the conservation of some of the world’s most misunderstood creatures. Their swimsuits are made entirely from reclaimed fishing lines and nets and their designs replicate the unique skin patterns of the sharks.
The screening took place down by The Middle House’s pool with food and drinks, and a pop-up store selling ‘In Sharks We Trust’ products was also available for viewers.
We were so grateful to be able to screen Stewart’s masterpiece and to get involved in the extremely important and worthy cause.
