Job Overview

This role supports the Information Technology department in developing and implementing innovative technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency and deliver exceptional guest experiences. We bring value by ensuring a reliable and secure IT infrastructure, enabling seamless operations, fostering digital transformation, and supporting the organization's strategic goals. This role will be on a 2-year contract basis.

 

Key Responsibilities

Here's the quick lowdown on what you'll do day-to-day:

• Assist in coordinating projects with vendors, hotel IT teams, and users to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
• Support users in improving business processes through system enhancements
• Collect and translate user requirements into design and support change management.
• Provide second-tier support for IT systems and hardware, troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
• Assist in systems configuration, enhancement requests, and conducting annual disaster recovery drills.
• Participate in product evaluations and testing.
• Review maintenance agreements with vendors and service providers.
• Manage IT equipment purchases and inventories to ensure availability and readiness of required resources.
• Prepare and maintain operation manuals and user guides.

 

Requirements

Here's exactly what you need to excel in this role:

The Non-Negotiables (Must-Haves):

• Minimum 5 years’ work experience in sizable IT operations, with exposure to project coordination and system support
• A recognised University degree in Information Technology or a related discipline
• Knowledge in server & network support, and Windows platform support is a must
• Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills
• Strong team player with a flexible attitude and attentive to detail
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin)

The Cherries on Top (Nice-to-Haves):

• Prior experience in hospitality systems is a definite advantage.
