We are looking for a  Director of Development to join our Development team at Central Support Office. 

You can create result with us using your expertise to…

  • Conduct market analysis to inform growth strategy for each target city
  • Identify and build relationships with suitable developers / partners in these target cities
  • Proactively establish contacts within the real estate community (JLL, CBRE, Savills etc.) to promote The House Collective and EAST brands
  • Identify and evaluate specific HMA opportunities
  • Prepare and present pro-forma financial projections for future properties
  • Prepare the RFP responses and HMA pitch presentations
  • Assist in the preparation of board papers
  • Acquire knowledge of the existing business portfolio KPI’s in order to undertake benchmark analysis
  • Work with the Central Support Office and hotel property teams to acquire contextual information and develop an understanding of Swire Hotels Group operations
  • Monitor and evaluate project performance against the baseline financial models prepared as part of the feasibility analysis and maintain a record of "lessons learned"

You can go that extra mile by using your skills and qualities including…

  • University degree from an accredited institution, preferably in business administration or hospitality
  • Minimum 8-10 years of work experience in a business development function, or in another function within the real estate or hospitality industry
  • Native-level Mandarin and English speaking capabilities 
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills
