Swire Hotels Supports Earth Hour 2011 and Go Beyond
(Hong Kong, 23 March, 2011) – Swire Hotels including The Opposite House, Beijing; The Upper House and EAST, Hong Kong will participate in Earth Hour 2011 at 8.30 pm on 26 March, 2011 (Saturday). Earth Hour is a global event created by the people for the planet, and the commitment made goes beyond one hour. It symbolises what can happen when the world acts together, and in celebration of the planet's future.
Each of the hotels will turn off selective lights to include decorative, façade and back office lighting. Guests will be informed of the initiative via iPod touch® and TVs and also by the Guest Experience Teams.
